Jacki Olson received her BFA degree from DePaul University, Chicago, Illinois as an Art Education Specialist (art therapist).
She also received additional education from Layton School of Art & Design in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois. Her postgraduate work was from University of Iowa, Iowa City, Iowa, and Minneapolis College of Art & Design, Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Jacki has taught art at Black Hawk College and art therapy for Trinity Hospital and Gilda’s Club with the Living Proof Exhibit’s Breast Cancer Survivors.
Jacki Olson is a fine artist who exhibits in a variety of mediums including painting, monoprints, monotypes, encaustics, mixed media, and photography.
Her artwork is exhibited nationally in numerous private collections and galleries throughout the United States.
For the past 33 years, Jacki has operated design/art studios and various art galleries. Recently she has current.works cottage river gallery in Moline, Illinois.
She lives with her husband in Rock Island, Illinois where she maintains her art studio.
